Bob Giammanco is the founder and CEO of 2XL Corporation, a leading manufacturer of hygiene and disinfecting solutions used across fitness, healthcare, education, hospitality, and commercial environments. Since founding the company in 1998, Bob helped pioneer disinfecting wipe systems for the fitness industry—creating one of the first sanitation solutions designed specifically for gyms. What began as a niche idea has grown into a global category used by millions of people each day.
An inventor and product developer, Bob continues to focus on improving how the world cleans. In 2023, he introduced Windup, a new floor-care system designed to capture dirt and contaminants rather than spread them through traditional mopping.
Bob is also active in the Chicago startup ecosystem. He has been a member of Hyde Park Angels since 2008, serving on numerous committees and as Chairman of the Board for four years, and has been involved with Techstars Chicago since its early days mentoring and supporting entrepreneurs.
